I'm an academically trained and experienced Finnish language professional, always excited to jump into new projects in, on and about Finnish.

I'm a native Finn, born and raised in Helsinki, Finland, and relocated to sunny Miami in 2015. I'm an ATA-certified EN-FI translator since 2018 and I've graduated from the University of Helsinki with an MA degree in Finnish language, minoring in Finnish literature, communication and computer science.

My services focus mainly on translations, transcreation, localization, proofreading and editing. In addition to linguistics, I'm also a subject matter expert on Finnish culture, customs, traditions and history. I have translation expertise in the field of business, commerce, technology, culture, marketing and communication. I have years of experience in collaboration with private customers, translation agencies, small businesses, start-ups, Fortune 10-500 companies, and global corporations operating in different industries worldwide.

I'm a member of American Translators Association, Association of Translators and Interpreters of Florida, Women in Localization and also Vice President of Finlandia Foundation South Florida Chapter. I have also received a Certification for HIPAA for Business Associates and I'm a Notary Public in the State of Florida.
