I am an academically trained and experienced Finnish language professional with a strong passion for delivering high-quality linguistic services related to the Finnish language.

A native of Helsinki, Finland, I relocated to Miami in 2015. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Finnish Language from the University of Helsinki, with minors in Finnish literature and communication, as well as coursework in computer science. I have been an ATA-certified English–Finnish translator since 2018.

I specialize in translation, transcreation, localization, proofreading, and editing. In addition to my linguistic expertise, I offer in-depth knowledge of Finnish culture, customs, traditions, and history. My professional experience spans a wide range of industries, including business, commerce, technology, marketing, and communications.

Over the years, I have collaborated with private clients, translation agencies, startups, small businesses, and global corporations, including Fortune 500 companies, delivering precise and culturally accurate language solutions.

I am an active member of the American Translators Association, the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Florida, and Women in Localization. I also serve as Vice President of the Finlandia Foundation South Florida Chapter. Additionally, I hold HIPAA certification for Business Associates and am a commissioned Notary Public in the State of Florida.
