Mabel Lima is a freelance ATA-Certified English to Spanish translator, consultant, and terminologist. She works with CROs translating and editing informed consents, quality-of-life questionnaires, and patient reported outcomes for Spanish speaking subjects in the US. Mabel draws on her 20+ years of experience in the medical/healthcare fields and her knowledge about terminology management to produce consistent, accurate, and high-quality translations. She has collaborated with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the National Institutes of Health, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

Mabel holds a BA in Spanish Language and Literature, a certificate in Medical Interpretation, and a MA in Terminology. She is also familiar with copywriting principles and has adapted and transcreated content for public health campaigns and websites.
