I am a Public (sworn) Translator who graduated from the University of Uruguay with a Bachelor's Degree in Translation. I also have a Post-Graduate Degree in Literary Translation (English Literature) from the same University.
I have taken several post-graduate translation courses in universities abroad; namely, in Scotland, Germany, and the United States.
I have been working as a professional freelance translator & interpreter for more than 20 years, both for local companies as well as reputed international organizations and companies located abroad. I am also a professor at a prestigious university in Montevideo, and have been director of Translation Studies.
I am accredited by several international organizations, and am part of their respective rosters, after passing the corresponding examinations. I also specialize in translating documents related to Arts, since I have pursued studies in Art History (4 years).
