Description

I am a sworn German, French and English interpreter and translator who has been certified by the State of Hesse, Germany.

My professional focus has been on translations and interpreting services in the areas of finance, legal, civil engineering, sports and tourism.

My work experience includes several book translations on cycling, triathlon, swimming and the Tour de France, translations of annual reports, corporate IFRS guidelines, all kinds of contracts and numerous construction-related documents. I have provided simultaneous interpreting at many conferences and consecutive interpreting at various depositions. In addition, I have worked for several months as an escort interpreter for the German and Canadian armed forces, mainly in the area of battle tanks and other armored vehicles.

Besides holding a German diploma in interpreting (equivalent to MA) I have a degree in business administration.

I work together with my wife, who also holds a degree in translating so that I can assure you that every document translated by one of us is proofread by the other partner, thus guaranteeing that our translations are fluent and easy to read.
