I'm originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, and I've been living in Los Angeles since 2004.
In addition to ATA certification, I'm a court interpreter federally certified by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts and state certified by the Judicial Council of California. I have experience interpreting/translating for civil and criminal proceedings, and also in the entertainment field. I'm an alumni of UCLA Extension’s Interpretation and Translation Program and I have a bachelor’s degree in cinematography from the Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires. I'm also a founding member and current president of the Association of Independent Judicial Interpreters of California (AIJIC).
