Marleen Julien specializes in high quality language solutions for businesses and organizations targeting Haitian communities. She has over 12 years of experience in international work with the Consulate General of Haiti in Chicago. Marleen has also worked with major companies such as Language Line Services as a Language Proficiency Tester, McGraw-Hill Professional as a Copyeditor and LionBridge as an Immigration Court Interpreter. Equipped with the best technologies in the translation industry and a custom Haitian Creole word list that covers about 99% of all common Haitian Creole words, she has the capacity to handle large projects with ease.


As a native of Haiti and current resident of the United States, she understands the needs of the people of Haiti and the impact of social innovations in economic development. Marleen Julien received a BA in International Relations and travels to Haiti regularly to conduct research on the culture, history, and traditions in order to sustain the Haitian culture. Marleen Julien’s visionary plan to create cultural and economic sustainability in Haiti has been put into motion by her many contributions. She plans to continue to expand the touch of globalization while still implementing a strong cultural awareness about Haiti.
