Mike Levin
Description
I am a full-time independent translator (English Russian and English Hebrew), specializing in corporate law, patents, intellectual property, banking, finance, insurance, oil and gas, governance, and environment.
I have previously worked as a senior translator at the World Bank, where I was directly responsible for the translation and revision of many operational and highly visible documents, including World Development Reports and Annual Reports.
In recent years my primary focus has been in banking and finance, giving me the opportunity to translate numerous documents for major trading houses. Additionally, I provide translation service to international organizations and U.S. Government agencies, most notably to the IMF and the U.S. Department of State. Other major clients include EBRD, OECD, USAID, and WTO, as well as a number of law firms where I provide translation in support of litigation concerning patents, contracts, and bankruptcies.
I am accredited by the American Translators Association for English-Russian and Russian-English language pairs (ATA does not administer Hebrew accreditation at this time), as well as certified by the U.S. Department of State for the same combinations, as well as for Hebrew into/from English. In fact, I am one of the top Russian and Hebrew translators for the State Department.
In my work I utilize Trados and MemoQ.
