Sa Snow Consulting LLC offers consulting, translation and interpreting services for scientific, technical and regulatory issues in biotechnology, plant pathology, phytosanitary certificate requirements for plant movement and trade, botany and microbiology, including but not limited to virology, mycology, bacteriology, nematology, disease epidemiology and diagnostics, and all molecular aspects of molecular diagnostics and identification.

I have an MSc from the University of Brasilia in Brazil and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of Florida in the USA. I have over 30 years of experience in plant science and extensive experience as an author of scientific and popular specialized publications in English and Portuguese and regulatory decision documents. My experience includies editing and revision in both languages for scientific journals, websites, and as a translator and interpreter.

I have the University of Michigan Certification of Proficiency in English, and the Lower and Upper Certificates of Proficiency in English of the University of Cambridge, with certification for Translation from English into Portuguese and Portuguese into English.

I am a qualified court interpreter for Portuguese for the Maryland Judiciary, and the Supreme Court of Virginia.
