•I am equally comfortable with both words and numbers. Throughout my career, I have gravitated towards documents that are generally financial in nature. Examples include tax litigation, company statements, bank statements, brokerage statements, and audit reports, among others. Another area I have experience in and truly enjoy is HR translation. I have translated candidate profile reports, professional reference reports, employee reviews, employee interviews, human resource manuals, and payroll procedures. However, my favorite area of specialization is mortgage and real estate documents, which include mortgage contracts, loan supporting documentation (appraisals, income verification, rental income, etc.), lease agreements, and home sale contracts. In some form or another, all of these aforementioned specializations incorporate legal jargon and terminology, which has also allowed me to develop my skills in legal translation. I have translated documents involving international litigation, mining rights and royalties, country boundary disputes, court filings, divorce decrees, and articles of incorporation.


•Another area I am quite skilled in is educational translation. In my previous role as a project manager, I was in charge of QA for school district translation. I have also translated a variety of IEPs, psychological evaluations, and immunization records from Spanish/Portuguese to English.


•Finally, I have extensive experience in the translation of personal and academic documents and can provide certified translations of documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, transcripts, and diplomas.
