QwertyWorks
Description
QwertyWorks is an ISO-certified applied communications company whose core business is localization into more than 60 languages in 75 country-markets.
QwertyWorks believes that no machine can ever connect people better than human linguists who can capture original content, context and tone and convey it into the ever-evolving local language.
The company was founded in 2001 by Jake Irwin Estrada, who began as an independent Tagalog (Filipino) linguist in the 1990s. In 2001, Jake used his life savings to buy a second-hand computer worth PhP5,500 ($122) and started hand-picking his own team of dedicated professional linguists to turn his one-man operation into a registered company, serving as the Tagalog translation team of Nokia Finland.
Throughout the years, QwertyWorks grew without seed funding or Venture Capital, relying only on strict financial discipline and keeping its promises to customers.
Today, the team at QwertyWorks caters to more than 400 clients with the same trademark customer-orientedness and performance-driven service that customers have been receiving from Mr. Estrada for almost 2 decades.
Our track record spans diverse industries including Information Technology, Law, Health, Marketing/Advertising, and Entertainment having rendered not just translation and localization but also MTPE, market research, communication skills development and assessment, Big Data collection and validation, as well as technology applications for NLP and non-latin character content processing.
