I am an Adjunct Professor at the NYU School of Professional studies - MS in Translation and Interpreting Program.
I translate approximately 1 million words per year in the following language combinations: Italian to English, Greek to English and French to English and the following fields: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business and Business Law, Pharmaceuticals (Patient Leaflets, Clinical Trials), Calls for Tenders. I have over 20 years of full time translation experience and I am certified from Italian into English AITI - the Italian translator's association.


I specialize in financial, accounting, banking, marketing, business and legal texts. My translating experience is solidly backed by the experience I gained working as a high level corporate executive with UNICEF, BBDO Advertising, Fashion Publications International and Warner Bros. Licensing while I hold a B.Sc. in Economics and an M.B.A. from U.S. universities.

I have been the official translator of the International Accounting Standards and the International Financial Reporting Standards for Greece since 2002 (when they were adopted by the EU) and I have translated all the EU texts and the Bound Volumes of the IAS/IFRS, working with the EU and a committee of specialists here and in the UK at the IASCF. Also, I translate the annual and interim reports and financial statements of many of the top Italian banks and telecom companies from Italian into English every year.

I provide translation, proofing/editing, post editing and transcription services.
I am also able to assist you with translation of calls for tender and can provide consulting services for submission and follow-up thereafter.
