I’m Santiago Krsul, a conference interpreter and a proud member of AIIC, ADICA, and ATA. With over a decade of experience in translation and diplomatic and conference interpreting, I have worked with government agencies, international organizations, embassies, corporations, and NGOs.

My journey began at IES en Lenguas Vivas Juan Ramón Fernández, where I earned a BA in Translation and a Post-graduate Diploma in Conference Interpreting. Driven by my passion for diplomacy and international politics, I later pursued an MA International Relations at the University of Buenos Aires.

Between 2015 and 2021, I provided translation and interpreting services for various organizations, companies, and publishing houses. In 2021, I joined the Pan American Health Organization as a freelance translator and later became an international consultant in the Languages Team (LNG). I then served as the official interpreter and translator for the U.S. Ambassador to Argentina, facilitating communication at countless high-level meetings and events for the Ambassador, senior U.S. government officials, their counterparts in Argentina and the region, business leaders, union representatives, and civil society figures.

In addition, I have taught translation and interpreting at my alma mater and other university programs, including the MA Translation and Interpreting program at the University of Buenos Aires. I have also trained many students who have become successful professionals at local interpretation school Estudio Lucille Barnes.

Today, I offer professional interpreting services to public institutions, embassies, NGOs, and private-sector clients. With ten years of experience in diplomatic and conference interpreting under my belt, I am committed to excellence and professional ethics, and I feel a genuine passion for languages, translation, and interpreting. These values define my work and are at the heart of my teaching, as I strive to pass on my enthusiasm to future professionals.
