** I have had extensive education and training in English, French, and German (a PhD from the Sorbonne in French literature and a translation diploma from the ESIT translation school in Paris). Combined with teaching experience of French and English at secondary and university levels in both the US and France, I am keenly aware of the nuances of language. I have lived for extended periods in English-speaking countries (Australia and the US) and in France and Germany.

** An ATA-certified translator (F-E and E-F), I have translated and edited a wide variety of documents during my translation career, but my focus for the past 20 years has been on medical and pharmaceutical translation and international development. I also translate and certify official documents, in particular those with medical content.

** Some texts require heightened sensitivity to tone and cultural context. I will work with clients to produce a polished, well-researched, and accurate translation.
