Virginia Joplin

Virginia Joplin, Chief Executive Officer of Verbio(R), began professionally translating French, Spanish, and English in 1996. Since then, Virginia has grown Verbio from one legal and technical translator into a full-service company addressing 250 languages and all forms of communication: translation, interpreting, audio, video, apps, eLearning, websites, plus international trade consulting. Virginia is a Sworn Translator for the Consulates of France and Spain. She has been an Active Member of the American Translators Association and similar professional organizations since 1998. Virginia was twice elected by her national peers as Administrator of ATA’s Translation Company Division (2012-16). The U.S. Secretary of Commerce appointed her to the Export Council of Oregon & SW Washington (2018-2026).
