Wael Allababidi
Description
I started out as a business and finance journalist, reporting and editing in both Arabic and English. I learned early that one misplaced word can move a market, or an argument. That instinct for precision has guided my work as a translator and interpreter for more than 20 years.
Today I translate the documents where accuracy matters most: legal contracts and court records, financial and banking reports, AML and compliance materials, and medical, technical, and government texts. When the audience is customers rather than regulators, I localize websites, software, and marketing so they read as if they were written in Arabic from the start.
When the words are spoken, I interpret in legal, medical, and community settings, in person or by phone or video.
I'm a member of ATA, trained in anti-money laundering (ACAMS), and based in Tampa, working with clients nationwide.
