Description

Having a level 6 Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) from the Chartered Institute of Linguists of the United Kingdom (UK) and being a certified medical interpreter (CMI-Cantonese) of the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI) of the United States, I am also a specialist medical doctor currently registered at the General Medical Council of the UK and Hong Kong Medical Council.

With a medical degree taught in English in 2004, a diploma in internal medicine obtained from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008 & a fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) of the UK in 2009, I was subsequently awarded the fellowship of Radiology by the Hong Kong College of Radiologists and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in 2012. I have an earnest discourse of medical terminologies in English, traditional Chinese & Cantonese. I believe that this is imperative to a flow of doctor-patient communication with high accuracy and adaptability.

With more than 15 years of experience in medical practice and linguistic qualifications, I am confident in providing high-quality medical interpretation and translation.
