The award is bestowed in even-numbered years.

Eligibility
- Recipients and nominators must be ATA members.
- Organizations are also eligible.
- Recipients are not eligible for repeat consideration.
Award
The recipient will be recognized at the ATA Annual Conference, in The ATA Chronicle, and on the ATA website.
