About the Presenter

Jason Willis-Lee, CL MCIOL MITI, is a full-time freelance Spanish-English and French-English translator living in Madrid. He specializes in the niche fields of clinical trials, medical reports, and academic research articles. Jason also enjoys training others working in the field and has given presentations on various topics to ProZ, Chartered Institute of Linguists, BP Translation conferences, and Training for Translators. His background includes a degree in physiology from Bristol Medical School and a brief stint as a clinical research associate before switching to applied linguistics and earning a postgraduate degree in translating and interpreting from the University of Bath. Jason recently launched a podcast called Turn Yourself into a Booked out Freelance Translator aimed at early career professional linguists.
