Terminology: Go Back to Basics and Develop Your Intuition

February 10 / 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST

Elevate your approach to terminology, strengthen your linguistic insight, and boost your professional intuition. Register now and rediscover the fundamental power of words.

In the dynamic world of translation and interpreting, technology often promises a quick fix for terminology challenges. Many professionals rely on powerful tools with integrated modules and partnerships designed to streamline research and keep their attention on the text. Yet true mastery can go further, inviting you to draw on a deeper, more intuitive understanding.

This webinar encourages you to move beyond purely technological solutions and rediscover the meaningful impact that real terminology knowledge can have on your professional growth. It focuses on building the confidence to trust your instinct, recognizing that context shapes everything, and allowing terms to reveal their meaning as you work. Even if words like theory, grammar, or dictionary may seem old-fashioned to some, they remain deeply relevant and help strengthen the bond between you and the linguistic structures that respond to your focused attention. Attend this webinar to learn the essentials and watch your intuition develop.

You will learn how to:

  1. Understand the diverse and essential meanings of the term “terminology.”
  2. Build practical skills that strengthen your terminology intuition.
  3. Identify the key factors involved in creating an effective glossary for translation or interpreting.
