About the Presenter

Pablo Mugüerza is a Spanish medical translator specializing in English to Spanish translations, with over 40 years of experience both in-house (at McGraw-Hill) and freelance. A medical school graduate (1987), he has worked with top translation agencies, major pharmaceutical companies, and contract research organizations that manage clinical trials. He is an external translator for the World Health Organization in Geneva and an editor for the Pan American Health Organization. Recognized as a leading expert in translating clinical trial protocols, he has authored a popular manual and mugüMED, a medical translation dictionary with over 10,000 terms.
