About the Presenters

Michael J. Amato is president of Independent Tax & Financial Planners, P.C, founded in 1981. He holds a BSc degree in accounting from LaSalle University as well as several other professional credentials, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Dept. of State, State Board of Accountancy, Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™) credential from the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners, Life and Health Insurance license from the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance, Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) designation from the Institute of Business and Finance, and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of Public Accountants.

Patricia L. Keller works for Independent Tax & Financial Planners, P.C, where she is responsible for business client’s accounting, tax, and operational needs, as well as preparation of individual returns. She holds a BSc in accounting from Bloomsburg University and an MBA from Rider University. She has a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the State of New Jersey, Department of Law and Public Safety, State Board of Accountancy.
