About the Presenter

Helen Eby, CT is an ATA-certified translator (English<>Spanish) who has worked as a translator and interpreter since 1984. She has served in a number of volunteer positions since joining ATA and is the current administrator of ATA’s Interpreters Division. Helen is also one of the co-founders of The Savvy Newcomer blog, written for newcomers to the translation and interpreting professions. She has also been involved in the ASTM Standards for Translation.
