What if you could work for your fees and your conditions?
As language professionals, we often struggle with client relationships. Clients and potential clients constantly ask us to work for less, or work in conditions we do not wish to accept. Our dream would be to have clients understand the value we bring to them and their goals. What usually happens, however, is that clients call us for our availability and fees, then call several other people, and go with the cheapest—or decide they like you, but tell you to work in a certain way and lower your fees.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can have clients who trust you, who hire you at the fee you think is fair, and who listen to you when you make suggestions.
This series of three webinars kicks off with this one, on client relationships. The next two will work on your negotiating skills and then how to speak to your clients so they listen to you and take action.
You will learn:
- How to start your client relationships off on the right foot.
- How to act as an expert, and not as an order-taker.
- How to value yourself and your work correctly.
