What if you and your client spoke the same language?
As language professionals, we pride ourselves on being able to communicate. But all too often, our clients and prospective clients simply don’t take notice of what we have said. We confuse them, and they disappear. We give them lists of what we need, and they ignore us. They often think of us as divas. Our dream would be to have clients understand us and give us what we need so we can bring them value. What usually happens, however, is that you and your client never understand each other.
How you speak to your client is as important as how you interpret. In fact, you could almost say more important, since your client may not even be one of those using your interpreting services!
Which means that you need to learn to speak a new language: Client.
Julia’s series of three webinars finishes with this one, on speaking so your clients will listen, so you can support your client relationships.
In this webinar, you will learn how to:
- Communicate so your client hears and understands you
- Send your messages at the best time
- Avoid saying the wrong things
