About the Presenter

Jamie Hartz is an ATA-certified Spanish>English translator, transcriber, and editor. She has been freelancing since 2013, specializing in legal and commercial translations.

Jamie completed an M.A. in Translation (Spanish) at Kent State University in May 2015. During the two-year degree, she worked part-time as a freelancer and part-time as a project manager at a language services provider. In June 2015, Jamie launched her business as a full-time as a freelancer.

Currently, Jamie serves as Secretary of her local ATA chapter, the Delaware Valley Translators Association, and has been a member of the The Savvy Newcomer blogging team since its inception in 2013.
