Message from the ATA President

Dear ATA Family,

With a heavy heart, I must inform you of my decision to resign from my position as president of ATA, effective immediately. I was recently diagnosed with a serious illness that requires immediate treatment. It will be a long and challenging journey, but I feel confident and supported by my medical team. Your trust has meant the world to me, and I cannot, in good conscience, continue serving ATA in this important role knowing that I would not be able to give it the focus and commitment it deserves.

My time on the Board and in other volunteer roles in ATA have brought me so much joy, inspiration, and personal growth, and I am thankful for the vote of confidence and the opportunity to serve you. I am very sorry that my term as ATA president has been cut short, but I know the Association will be in good hands under the leadership of Geoff Koby. I will support him during this transition, and I ask for your grace and patience as we navigate this change.

I wish you all the best and look forward to supporting ATA in other ways in the future.

With sincere gratitude,

Veronika Demichelis
