memoQ: Getting Started

September 26, 2017

There are so many translation environments available today that new translators—or even seasoned translators looking to make a change—will likely wonder where to start.

The answer? Right here!

Begin with a demonstration of memoQ’s function and features. Then walk through how to set up a project, run an analysis of translatable documents, run an alignment, establish a corpus in LiveDocs, and deliver a finished product.

The webinar wraps up with information about memoQ’s interoperability and ability to import documents and resources from other translation environments.

What will you learn?

  1. Getting started
  2. Translating in the memoQ environment
  3. Using additional memoQ functionalities
  4. Translating project packages that did not originate from memoQ
  5. Creating a desktop publishing package
  6. Adding translation segments from static images to a translation memory
