ATA, along with six other T&I organizations, has signed an open letter calling for the provision of personal protective equipment to onsite healthcare interpreters.
The letter, which was drafted by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters, was sent to the National Governors Association, American Hospital Association, American Medical Association, American Nurses Association, America’s Essential Hospitals, Catholic Health Association, and Federation of American Hospitals.
