Certification Exam Study Groups

Certification Exam, Member News
Source: ATA

The advent of the online ATA certification exam has led to increased interest in certification and in the establishment of study groups to prepare for the exam. In this panel discussion with representatives from the French Language Division, Slavic Languages Division, Spanish Language Division, and Certification Committee, members describe their strategies and experience organizing study groups and answer questions regarding their efforts. We hope this discussion inspires other members to establish their own study groups.

If you are interested in helping to document how existing study groups have been organized or have any suggestions regarding how to support the establishment of additional groups, please email lebzy@lgtranslations.com.

Moderated by ATA Divisions Committee Chair Lebzy González, this panel discussion took place on July 16, 2021. Panel speakers included Amber Marcum Combaud, Maria Guzenko, Michèle Hansen, Jason Knapp, and Eugenia Tietz-Sokolskaya.
